Received Call from 90131385472, i did not take out a payday loan. Demanding to pay 265 by tomorrow.
901-313-85472 this number keeps calling me an harrasing me and i told them i didnt take a loan out and they are telling me i did an that im going to jail an that i am going to be charged with two felonies
but they said they couldn't tell me the amount of the loan an told me that i had to pay 265.00 by tomorrow at 930 am an said it would have to be paid by credit card i think this is a scam but not sure but i know that i did not take out a payday loan an they said the date was 04/05/2013. can u please help me?

Hi Amanda, please don't get worked up! The callers have nothing to do with you or your loan (if you have one!).
A legitimate debt collector will not threaten to have you arrested. Defaulting on a payday loan is not a crime. There is no question of anyone getting arrested for a payday loan default!
Don’t ever give-in to bogus debt collectors who are looking to coerce cash. Debt collectors are legally bound to send Debt Validation Notice of the debt by mail within 5 days of their first call. Those who call and threaten legal action are hoodlums looking for pain free income, if they can’t even send you a notice.
The fact is they can’t, since they have no information aside from your phone number and may be name and a couple of other stolen data.
Don’t share any personal info including name, address etc
